The so called GNSS raw data is generated by the tracking engine and includes measurements for each tracked satellite.
The so called GNSS raw data is generated by the tracking engine and includes measurements for each tracked satellite. It is a copy of the measurements that the receiver’s main navigation task uses internally.
u-blox has defined two different raw data level as shown in the table below.
Basic raw data | Full raw data | |
---|---|---|
GNSS raw data output | Code phase | Carrier phase |
Supported UBX messages | UBX-RXM-SFRBX RXM-MEASX | UBX-RXM-SFRBX RXM-MEASX RXM-RAWX |
RAW data elements | Satellite Information Code Phase [ms] Doppler [m/s, Hz] | Satellite Information Code Phase [ms] Doppler [m/s, Hz] Pseudoranges [m] Carrier phase [cycles] |
Basic raw data is available on all GNSS receivers based on u-blox M8 and later platforms.
Full raw data is only available on specific GNSS receivers as shown in the table below:
u-blox M8 | u-blox M9 | u-blox F9 | u-blox F10 | |
