The C212-NORA-B126 Bluetooth LE audio application board is everything you need for easy exploration, prototyping or development of Bluetooth LE Audio, including new use-cases like personal or public audio sharing via the new Auracast broadcast technology. With LE Audio the new LC3 codec replaces Bluetooth Classic’s SBC codec, providing superior audio quality and about half the wireless data rate. This low data rate is a key factor in minimizing the power consumption of your products, extending battery life and/or allowing for a smaller battery.

The C212-NORA-B126 board is built on the u-blox NORA-B126 Bluetooth LE module, based on the Nordic Semiconductor nR5340 SoC and the nRF5340 Audio DK. The NORA-B126 has an integrated antenna and the optional PA and LNA, boosting the range and coverage by providing an output power up to 13 dBm. This is especially useful for Auracast broadcasting of audio in public venues, for example airports, train stations, convert halls and many more. The NORA-B126 features global certification, optional PA and LNA, and 3 different antenna types: integrated high-performance PCB antenna with Abracon technology, or either a U.FL connector or antenna pin for connecting an external antenna of choice.

For most use-cases, we recommend using two or more C212-NORA-B126 application boards.
