Documentation & resources

The USB-ANNA-B4 development platform is built on the ultra-compact Bluetooth low energy SIP module ANNA-B4, based on the Nordic Semiconductor nRF52833 chip.

The board is designed with a USB interface to simplify evaluation and prototyping directly from a PC. In addition to the ANNA-B4 SIP module with integrated antenna, it also integrates two buttons, a temperature sensor, an RGB LED, and a USB/UART converter, to further support an easy evaluation.

The board is available in two variants:

  • USB stick evaluation / demo tool board with ANNA-B402 module with integrated antenna, supporting open CPU software architecture for customer developed applications using the Nordic Semiconductor SDK, embedded on the integrated Cortex M4 MCU.
  • USB stick evaluation / demo tool board with ANNA-B412 module with integrated antenna and embedded u-blox u-connectXpress software for quick and easy Bluetooth low energy connectivity from an external MCU via AT commands.

For more detailed evaluation of the ANNA-B4 modules, and/or evaluation of the ANNA-B4 module with external antenna, use the EVK-ANNA-B4 evaluation kit.
