Solving the Complexity of Communicating Sensor Data between IoT Devices and the Enterprise
Join Lee Stacey and Mike Coombes for a presentation.
Time: 11:00 AM - 11:40 AM BST
Location: Business Design Centre, 52 Upper Street, London, N1 0QH
This presentation by u-blox product evangelist, Lee Stacey, will show you how to take advantage of the simplicity and power-saving benefits of MQTT / MQTT-SN. It will highlight solutions to help solve the complexity of communicating between IoT devices and the enterprise.
This session will include a case study from Mike Coombes. Mike is co-founder of CompAir, a social enterprise dedicated to exposing air pollution and assisting communities and industries to collaborate in its reduction.
This case study demonstrates how u-blox addresses the device-to-enterprise data challenge, allowing CompAir to leverage u-blox’s MQTT Anywhere (IoT Communication-as-a-Service) platform to deliver business-grade, affordable, and simple-to-install air pollution sensor networks to construction sites run by conscientious builders.
We make it simple to communicate data between IoT devices and the cloud. The complexity of getting data from IoT devices anywhere in the world to the enterprise is solved through MQTT Anywhere, the u-blox IoT communication service delivered via the Thingstream IoT cloud platform. Our services can be combined with products to enhance functionality, improve quality of service in challenging conditions, and solve the problems of complexity, cost, and availability.
